Plain-language summary: Use Summit for its intended purpose — tracking peaks and logging summits. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled at any time through your app store. The app data is provided as-is and should never replace proper navigation tools in the field. We're a small indie operation; please be reasonable.
By downloading, installing, or using Summit (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") between you and Alpenglow Developers LLC ("Alpenglow," "we," "us," or "our"), a Colorado limited liability company. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Summit is provided for personal, non-commercial use to discover, log, and track mountain peaks and summits. You may use the App for any lawful purpose consistent with these Terms.

Summit offers the following paid tiers to unlock premium features:
Prices are in USD and may vary by region as determined by Apple or Google.
Monthly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your payment method on file with Apple or Google will be charged at renewal. We do not have access to your payment card details.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date.
All purchases are processed by Apple or Google and are subject to their refund policies. Alpenglow Developers LLC does not directly process refunds. To request a refund, contact Apple Support or Google Play Support. We cannot offer refunds for partial subscription periods.
Certain features of Summit are available without a subscription. We reserve the right to modify which features are free or paid at any time, with reasonable notice.
Important: Summit is an informational tool for peak discovery and personal logging. It is not a navigation application and must not be used as your primary navigation tool in the field.
Peak data, elevations, prominence figures, and routes are sourced from OpenStreetMap and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. Always:
Mountain travel involves inherent risks. Alpenglow Developers LLC accepts no liability for decisions made based on information displayed in the App.
The Summit App, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by Alpenglow Developers LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Peak data is sourced from OpenStreetMap, available under the Open Database License (ODbL).
You retain ownership of any summit logs, notes, and photos you create within the App.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF INACCURACIES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALPENGLOW DEVELOPERS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $10.00, whichever is greater.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Colorado.
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
